For the last several years, CBS 42 News has traveled across Central Texas -- spotlighting the unique qualities of area towns and the people who live there. We call these segments My Hometown.

The CBS 42 crew enjoys packing up our TV equipment and "going live" from special parts of Central Texas.

	Bluebonnet Cafe serves up slice of home in Marble Falls The Marble Falls landmark has been in business for over 80 years, and is known for miles around as one of the best diners in Texas. Video
	My Hometown: National Museum of the Pacific War in Fredericksburg This year World War II veterans from across the country gathered for their reunion in Fredericksburg. The big draw here is the National Museum of the Pacific War. Video
	My Hometown: Lost Pines In Bastrop It's almost impossible to spend any time in Bastrop without noticing the beautiful "Lost Pines." The loblolly pine woodland towers over Bastrop State Park. Video
	My Hometown: Wimberley home to Texas' first olive trees Bella Vista Ranch owner Jack Dougherty is getting the Texas soil to produce something rare in this part of the world: olives. Video
	My Hometown: The history behind La Grange La Grange has been immortalized in a classic 70's song, a Broadway musical and a hit film, and has the oldest operating pharmacy in Texas. Video
